There is a back road we take down to Folsom sometimes. Running errands and buying random things we probably didn't need allowed us to capture this moment in time.
It was simply a request from S- "Pull over real quick so I can get out and take a photo," and this was the result. A few clicks on her phone, a moment to sit and look at the gorgeous gold, pink, and lavender, shared smiles ,and then we headed up the hill for Friday Night Taco Night with two of our favorite friends.
We have learned that the everyday moments in life are worth capturing and making memories. Taking the backroads and looking for the simple things that become magnificent when we slow down and really see them. That can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary memory.
